Basically JUST the center console and drivers console would light up (they must be on separate part of electrical). Seems the "reboot" caused by battery disconnect fixed it. Put a little bit of white lithium grease on that and if you can get some up inside the button area it would help. You may have to clean to shifter knob while it is off. Put it back together and you should be good.
